Pension SCHNEE
Pension Schnee is a family run, ski-in ski- out, boutique ski lodge. It is located at the foot of the Isemiya slopes, above the Hikage gondola, next to the Japan ski museum. During winter resort operating hours you can access Pension Schnee from the village via the Yu-road travelator. Pension Schnee specialise in local organic foods and pesticide-free natural wines-they boast a selection of over 400 types! Lunch and dinner can be had by reservation at least 2 days in advance.

Rest House Kazumi
Kazumi is a family run mountain restaurant offering good value lunches, morning and afternoon tea and cakes, at the Hikage ski center, next to the kids park. We are the first restaurant in the strip closest to the end of the Yu-road travelator. There is a mix of Western tables and Tatami seating. We also offer a rental shop and ski storage on the basement level-so you do not have to carry ski gear up from the village to the resort area.

Restaurant UTOPIA
Utopia Shokudo is a large restaurant at the Junction of the Challenge and Utopia courses. It has great views over the valley and plenty of space for large groups. You can sit outside on a sunny day to enjoy the Utopia course moguls action, with a beer or ice cream. The Chicken burgers are great!

Resthouse Yamabiko
Located inside the old Nagasaka gondola top station at the top of the Uenotaira ski area, upstairs. Beef steak with Nozawa-na rice- Cooked on the grill as you order!Rest House Yamabiko is the largest restaurant on the mountain. Located perfectly- close to the summit courses and the Uenotaira beginner slopes it is a great meeting point for families, with plenty of space. It is currently being redesgned for the 20/21 ski season so expect some changes!

SHICHIROHEI COFFEE
Shichirohei coffee is a café and restaurant attached to Shirakaba, located just down from Nozawa Koutsu taxi service. They offer a seasonal a la carte menu as well as a course menu upon reservation.All menu items are made from scratch and use local produce. The great espresso coffee, relaxed atmosphere and excellent wine selection make this one of the "must try" dining options in Nozawa.

SHICHIROHEI COFFEE Hikage
Shichirohei coffee Hikage is located above Shirakaba rental at the Hikage ski area, next to the kids park and lesson meeting point. We have an open balcony overlooking the ski area and serve great espresso coffee and other hot drink options. The sweets are all made by our in-house pastry chef and include homemade ice cream, gluten free gateau chocolat, and Tiramisu. Check our instagram for daily menu items.

SHOHEI SOBA
Shohei soba is a cozy traditional soba restaurant in the main street of Nozawaonsen. It is located upstairs in the Ikemoto building, above 'Sumo nabe.' The house specialty is hand made soba noodles served either cold with a dipping sauce or in a hot broth. The side serve of tempura prawn and vegetables are a great value accompaniment.

Sooyu
Sooyu is a family run restaurant located underneath the lodge of the same name up the hill near Yuzawa shrine. We serve a wide range of rice bowl dishes including the good value Steak-don. Sooyu can do hot pot banquets on request, and is a great option for celebrations with small groups.

Sukiyaki Shabu Shabu Wagyu-tei
Wagyutei is located above 'Stay bar' in the main street, Oyu dori. We serve traditional Japanese Sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu dishes using both affordable and top grade Wagyu cuts. The restaurant itself is recently renovated with a stylish modern fit out and western style seating. The menu includes a good range of wine and sake to accompany. Wagyutei is a great place to celebrate with large groups.

Sumo nabe is a mainstreet Izakaya specializing in Japanese Hot pot dinners. The house special is the massive Chanko nabe-the hot pot of Sumo! We also serve a variety and mixed drinks, beer and sake and Japanese bar snacks. Open every day in winter. Nabe bookings appreciated but not necessary.

Sun Yamaki is located in the middle of the strip of restaurants at the Hikage ski area, opposite the kids park. It is a great place to relax and let the kids play outside. Our speciality is our vegan curry and we will do our best to accommodate special dierty requirements.
