Campground

Surrounded by beech, birch and rowan forests, the Sutaka campground is located in the center of Uenotaira Highland, on the shore of Lake Sutaka at an altitude of 1300m.
Escape the summer heat of the lowlands with a trip to this picturesque campsite surrounded by wild birds and animals. A great place to recharge your battery ! ~

The campsite is fully equipped with everything you need : kitchen stool, fireplace, toilets and showers. If you do not own any material, do not worry ! The camping site also provides tent and bungalow rental. Located within a short drive from Nozawa Onsen Village, up onto the Uenotaira Highland, a clean and comfortable place to escape with family and friends ~🏕️

At Lake Sutaka, you can enjoy catch-and-release fishing! Come and catch some rainbow trout and white-spotted char with your family and friends 🐟Enjoy the thrill of the catch, then gently release the fish back into the lake so others can experience the excitement too.
