Ski slopes and lift status
To enjoy your time at Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort safely, please be aware that each lift has a different closing time.
Please check the lift operating times and make sure you catch the last ride you need.
⚠️ Important: If the Uenotaira Quad Lift has already closed, there is no way to return to the lower mountain from the upper area. Please make sure you reach the lift before its last ride.

To all Back-Country lovers
These gates are the boundary between the ski resort’s managed domain and unpatrolled back-country zone called Self-Responsibility Area
When leaving the Ski Resort management area please ensure that you close the gate behind you.

WARNING!!!
The area beyond this point is outside the ski resort management area.
No safety controls or regulations are in place. In the event of an accident or distress, such as an avalanche, the ski area patrol will not be able to conduct a rescue. The ski area is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur.
For safety reasons, it is forbidden to return to the controlled area after operating hours.

Ski with pet
Pet ticket sales at Nagasaka Ticket Center
￥700 per pet
- Only the Nagasaka Gondola Lift allows pets to board.
- Always put your pet on a leash or in a carrier when riding the gondola.
- Please avoid crowds as mush as possible when using the gondola.
- Only a limited number of restaurant allow pets in the resort.
- Pets cannot ride the Village Shuttle Bus…..etc
*During first ride, Spring mountain …etc or when slopes at the bottom of the mountain are not available, riding with your pets is not available. We would like to thank you in advance for your understanding.
