Campground

Surrounded by beech, birch and rowan forests, the Sutaka campground is located in the center of Uenotaira Highland, on the shore of Lake Sutaka at an altitude of 1300m.
Escape the summer heat of the lowlands with a trip to this picturesque campsite surrounded by wild birds and animals. A great place to recharge your battery ! ~

The campsite is fully equipped with everything you need : kitchen stool, fireplace, toilets and showers. If you do not own any material, do not worry ! The camping site also provides tent and bungalow rental. Located within a short drive from Nozawa Onsen Village, up onto the Uenotaira Highland, a clean and comfortable place to escape with family and friends ~🏕️

Lake Fishing 🎣

At lake Sutaka you can also enjoy fishing ! 2 choices are offered to you : traditional fishing, at the lake or hand fishing in the pond. Come and catch some rainbow trout and white-spotted char with your family and friends 🐟 And salt-grilled them on the spot with our ready to use special BBQ for grilled fish ! Or you can also decide to cook it your own way and prepare it at one of the kitchen area available all around the campsite 😉 You will never have tasted such a delicious, raised in the natural water that melts from the mountain, fish ☆~
