SPARENA is located between the Nagasaka and Karasawa ski areas on the edge of the Nozawa onsen ski resort. 
SPARENA is a large hot spring facility equipped with indoor public baths, an open air hot-spring bath, warm bathing pool, saunas and restaurant. 
(Indoor baths are segregated, no swimwear. Outside pools are unisex and require swimwear). 
There is also a relax room equipped with reclining chairs and a ski accessory outlet. A perfect stop for day trippers who arrive early to the resort.
 Restaurant Chantel, offers a wide range of menu items, including handmade pizzas, pasta, soba, udon, tempura, steak and more.

Free body soap, shampoo and conditioner is supplied in the indoor bathing areas, and there is a powder room in the changing area.
Saunas are accessed via the indoor onsens.
Towels can be rented (for a fee) at the front desk.

Large open-air onsen

The open-air baths are fed directly from the hot spring main source at Ogama.

The outside baths are unisex facilities so you can bathe with family and friends. Swimwear is required.

Pool

The outside cold pools are only available during the summer season. The smaller ‘jabujabu’ splash pond is ideal for little kids. The main waterfall pool is split into a deeper section accessed by stairs, and the shallow side where you can walk in gradually down the tiled slope.

Restaurant

Chantel

Restaurant Chantel, offers a wide range of menu items, including handmade pizzas, pasta, soba, udon, tempura, steak and more. A  great value morning set is available during the winter season. (7: 00 am-9: 00am)

Terrace seats are open during the summer season, and offer great views over the valley below.
Be sure to drop by for a sunset beer and a handmade pizza after you day in the mountains.

A 5-minute walk from the Nagasaka gondola station or a short ski from the bottom of Skyline course, this restaurant is a quieter option on busy weekends and has plenty of seating.

You can also use the ‘Value pack’ meal vouchers at this venue.
